Christmas Festival and Village
Our signature event for the parish and the wider community. Around 23,000 visitors joined us last year to step into the Christmas season. This year the Village is open over two weekends: Friday to Sunday, December 4, 5 and 6, and Friday to Sunday, December 11, 12 and 13.
What to see in the Village
From the moment you cross the bridge, you are surrounded by Christmas.
More than 100,000 lights
The Main Christmas Tree and lots of festive spots for family photos.
Village shops
The Post Office, Gingerbread Café, Bumbles Ice Cave and General Store. And don't forget a s'more at the fire pit on your way out!
Help build the Village
It takes many hands. Help all season or on just a few workdays.
Setup begins in October. Our team inspects the structures, repairs what needs fixing and gets ready for the season. The first setup day is Saturday, October 3 at 9am. If you have tools, please bring them. More workdays will follow for putting up lights, testing displays and decorating.
We especially welcome volunteers with experience in home improvement, painting, carpentry and construction, electrical work and lighting, or creative design and decorating.
